Biography

Edward Sarver Edward J. Sarver, Ph.D., has been a professional educator for over 30 years. In his effort to make a positive difference for kids, he has been a teacher, coach, and administrator, most recently superintendent. He has served as a consultant and made numerous presentations at the school district, region and state levels. Ed has taught undergraduate and graduate education courses and served as research advisor for doctoral students in higher education.

Ed has an M.A. in Science Education from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Pittsburgh. Ed has expertise in learning and teaching styles, adult learning, professional development, curriculum development, storyboarding, performance-based education, school construction, and strategic planning including action team leader training. Ed has experience in team building, needs assessment and analysis, program development and implementation, effective instruction, differentiated supervision, budget management, personnel selection and evaluation, and all phases of school district operations.
